Graduation

 

With the beginning of May, seniors will be experiencing their last few classes, contests, AP exams, projects, graduation parties, prom, finals and graduation.  This Sunday, our church, Tallowood Baptist,  will honor and celebrate our seniors and their parents. 

 

To the Graduating Seniors:

I am thanking God for creating you, blessing you with talents and abilities, and having a plan for your life.  In the coming days, you will study and prepare for finals, check and double check that all requirements have been met to earn your diploma, receive your gown, stole, cords, and graduation cap, and do your best to finish strong.  Either through the spoken or written word, may you also remember and take the time to express your thanks and appreciation to those who have loved, taught, encouraged, believed in, and made a difference in your life throughout these years.

 

Graduation is the end of one chapter in your life and the start of a new one.  I join with your parents, family, friends, and teachers in celebrating the hard work and accomplishments you have achieved during these years.  It is with much joy and anticipation that we look forward to seeing the ways God will work in and through you during these coming years. 

 

Trust in the LORD with all your heart

To the Parents:

May these days and weeks hold many treasured memories, special times, and wonderful experiences for you and your graduate.

During these years, you have given your child roots and now the gift of wings.  May they soar and make a difference in our world.
