Because He Lives

We can, too!

 

 

One of my favorite songs through the years has been “Because He Lives” by Gloria and William Gaither.  The first verse states:

 

God sent His Son,
They called Him Jesus,
He came to love, heal, and forgive;
He lived and died to buy my pardon,
An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives.

Because He lives I can face tomorrow,
Because He lives all fear is gone;
Because I know He holds the future.
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

And because I believe Jesus is alive and that he’s the way, the truth, and the life, I want others to know and have a relationship with Him as well.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  John 3:16

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  John 14:6

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.  Acts 4:12

 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
