And in Response...

These past few weeks, several quotes have challenged, inspired, motivated, and convicted me.  Now it’s time to choose to intentionally respond to the ways I love, live, and invest in others.

“Never hold onto anything tighter than you’re holding on to God.”

~ Tony Evans

ACT IN SUCH A MANNER

THAT YOU ARE LIVING PROOF

OF A LOVING GOD.

LOVE AND KINDNESS ARE
NEVER WASTED.  THEY ALWAYS
MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

~ Helen James

When you replace

“Why is this happening to me”

with

“What is this trying to teach me?”,

everything shifts.

Negativity is a choice.

Resentment is a choice.

Anger is a choice.

Revenge is a choice.

Optimism is a choice.

Compassion is a choice.

Forgiveness is a choice.

Empathy is a choice.

How we live our one given

life is a choice.

Choose wisely.

~ Angela Anagnost-Repke

“Self-discipline begins with the mastery of your thoughts.  If you don’t control what you think, you can’t control what you do.”

~ don Miguel Ruiz Jr.

“Start where you are.

Use what you have.

Do what you can.”

~ Arthur Ashe

Peace is not when everyone agrees.  It is when we can respect our disagreements and still play in the sandbox together.

Gratitude

isn’t only a celebration

when good things happen.

Gratitude is a declaration that

GOD IS GOOD

no matter what happens.

~ Ann Voskamp

“Wherever you go, God is sending you.  Wherever you are, God has put you there.  God has a purpose in your being there.  Christ lives in you and has something he wants to do through you where you are.  Believe this and go in the grace and love and power of Jesus Christ.”

~ Richard Halverson

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Romans 12:2

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.

Romans 15:5-7
