Willing to Change and Grow

One of the blessings of the pandemic has been the time to sit, think, evaluate, and make changes.  My prayer is that I’m not wasting these opportunities for evaluation, change, and growth.  Sometimes the simplest words and phrases can have a big and lasting impact.

20/20 is considered
perfect vision.
Maybe God is using
2020 for us to
see clearly that He’s
in charge and the
only one who can
help us!

There is not enough room in your mind for both worry and faith.  You must decide which one gets to live there.

CHANGE IS INEVITABLE.
GROWTH IS OPTIONAL.
~ John C. Maxwell

Kindness is a small thing that can make a BIG difference.

You are free to choose,
but you are not free from the
consequence of your choice.

Sometimes we are tested not to show our weakness,
but to discover our strengths.

SPIRIT LEAD
ME WHERE
MY TRUST
IS WITHOUT
BORDERS

Make excuses or make changes.  The choice is yours.

NOT EVERYTYHING IS CANCELLED
sunshine is not cancelled
spring is not cancelled
love is not cancelled
relationships are not cancelled
reading is not cancelled
naps are not cancelled
devotion is not cancelled
music is not cancelled
dancing is not cancelled
imagination is not cancelled
kindness is not cancelled
conversations are not cancelled
hope is not cancelled

Wherever you go, leave a heart print.

Sometimes the
strength within you
is not a big fiery
flame for all to see
it is just a tiny
spark that whispers
ever so softly
“You got this.
Keep going.”

You will never look into the eyes of someone God does not love.  Always be kind.

It is not the
JOY that makes us
GRATEFUL,
it is GRATITUDE
that makes us
JOYFUL.

“You are always responsible for how you act, no matter how you feel.”
~ Robert Tew

When you replace
“why is this happening to me”
with “what is God trying to show me”
everything changes.

“The wonderful thing about praying is that you leave a world of not being able to do something, and enter God’s realm where everything is possible.  He specializes in the impossible.  Nothing is too great for His almighty power.  Nothing is too small for His love.”
~ Corrie Ten Boom

“When something bad
happens you have three choices:
You can let it define you,
you can let it destroy you,
or you can let it strengthen you.”
~ Dr. Seuss

Be an example.
Show kindness to unkind people.
Forgive people who don’t deserve it.
Love unconditionally.
Your actions always reflect who you are.

Be good to people for no reason.

Instead of saying:
“Lord, I don’t know how I am going to do this,”
Say:
“Lord, I can’t wait to see how you do this.”

“Don’t shine so others can see you.
Shine so that through you others can see Him.”
~ C.S. Lewis

Be the reason someone feels seen, loved, heard, and accepted today.

I’M FIXING ME.
Because sometimes I’m the problem.

JOY

“Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God.”
~ Bob Pierce

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:7

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.
Romans 12:2

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted   to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Romans 12:9-10

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
2 Timothy 1:7
