“I want my children to see the
precious babe in the manger.
But I also want them to see
His love on the cross.
And the victory of
an empty tomb.
And to trust He’s coming again.
That is the Christmas story
I want my children to know.”
~ Jaclyn Warren
And may it be the Christmas story for our grandchildren, family, neighbors, friends, and peoples of the world to know and experience, too.
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
Matthew 1:21-23
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.
Luke 2:11
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
2 Corinthians 9:15
