Micah 6 - The Message

Micah 6 - The Message

What God Is Looking For
8But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do,
what God is looking for in men and women.
It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor,
be compassionate and loyal in your love,
And don't take yourself too seriously—
   take God seriously.

What a timely verse as we prepare for this next week.

Please pray that I will take every opportunity to be a blessing to the medical team and the other MS patient we will meet next week.

  1. Debbie,
I am Marcia Dean from Colony Baptist Church (Mark's wife). Chad told us about this blog site. Several weeks ago he mentioned this treatment to me, that you were praying about it. I'm sure it was a decision you and your husband made after a lot of prayer and research. So I know that God has a reason and a purpose for this. I will be praying for you this week and I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do!

As I am typing this, I heard Mark answer his cell phone. It is Chad. Chad is such a blessing. God has his hand upon him and I know will use him throughout his ministry to show Himself and His truth to others.

I look forward to reading your blog. I pray that you have a safe trip and that our Heavenly Father provides peace as you enter unfamiliar territory. And as you begin the treatment, especially on that one difficult day, remember the compassion and faithfulness of God. I love the fact that He is The Alpha and Omega. That the God who created the universe and all that is within desires an intimate relationship with me. That Jesus sacrificed Himself so that relationship could be realized. And that during those difficult times I can cry out to him "Abba, Father". I know that no matter what I go through, He is there. And I know that He will be walking with you, sometimes carrying you, as you embark on this journey. You have my love and my prayers.
