(Update from Larry) - We were greeted with the following passage, "Your faith has healed you...", Matt. 9:22, imprinted on the glass wall as we entered the clinic this morning. We saw it again as we were escorted back to the hotel by Christina. This was a day involving many IVs and shots (from top to bottom, including the stomach). Sorry folks, Deb would not let me get the camera out for this part. That big red one in the glut took a while to go in. Angelina (not Jolie) was very careful and gentle as each shot was administered.
We are about to go out and sit by the pool before dinner.
Glad to hear that the day has gone well. I am praying throughout the day that God will provide the much needed healing for Debbie! Thanks for keeping us posted on the daily progress!

Ouch. Prayed all day for you Debbie. Read the message this morning since I know you are doing that this year. You are on my heart and mind.
ReplyDeleteI prayed God would give you beauty to surround you and I hope sitting by the pool will remind you of God's Healing and give you a respite from your days of treatments. I am praying for strength for the day and peace for the night. Know that there are so many back here that are keeping you lifted up in prayer!
ReplyDeleteI know you feel the many prayers coming your way. Even my exercise class at church is praying for you and asking about you. It is comforting for me to read the blog and get the descriptions of your surroundings. It makes it easier to picture you this week. It is Tuesday morning, and I am praying today that procedures have no complications and pave the way for a wonderful Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. I love you both and look forward to the news of the day.
ReplyDeleteIt is such a comfort to read about all those praying! Prayer does change things, and I am praying it will be of comfort for you today to know we are praying for you.
ReplyDeleteYou are still in our prayers,
